LPW - Waltham, Sapphire, Model 1898, 13J, 6/0S, 14K gold original HC with exquisite fine engraving detail creating a textured and two-tone geometric pattern, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#15021770. Gross weight of assembled watch 14.0 dwt (21.8 g). In need of overhaul for running condition, but an extraordinarily beautiful ladies' pendant watch with case in exceptional condition showing no wear.
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance is gummy, overhaul needed, nearly mint cosmetic condition, minuscule spots on one winding wheel, few micro-fine scratches; visible portion of dial with light hls at 5; fine minute hand with color loss to spade, excellent hour and seconds-hand; case shows no wear, no exterior dents or dings, cuvette with some rippling of reflection toward hinge area where it appears a past engraving has been polished away, exquisite crisp engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
